In Revelation through John's vision, Jesus is telling us that He is waiting for us to invite Him in. He is knocking at the door to our hearts and our souls. He wants to be inside with us and a part of our lives. He wants to be a part of our lives, every part of our lives. When he speaks of sharing meals, I believe that is more than just food, that is all consumption. So listen closely and you too can hear His voice, you can hear His knock. It is so easy, why are so many people not opening this door? What are they afraid of? Please, have no fear and sit down to the table with our Lord. Do it today, so that tomorrow we can spend eternity together.
O - Jesus is looking for us. He wants to be our friend. He is already our Savior, but He wants in a more intimate manner. He is going to make it easy too, simply open the door to Him. He is already out there knocking. Wow, never really thought of it that way.
A - I want to always make sure my door is open to the presence and voice of Jesus. He is always welcome at every meal and I love that He calls me friend and I can call Him friend. I love that I have found this intimate relationship with Him. I want nothing more than for everyone to realize they too can have this same type of relationship, just open the door.
P - Father, I pray that all those out there can hear Jesus knocking and I pray even more that they would open the door and let Him in. I thank you so much that you gave me ears to hear and that I opened the door. I thank you so much that Jesus came in and we are friends. In Jesus' name Amen
