How often do you have a disagreement because you are sure someone is wrong? Maybe you are even offended that they would offer a differing opinion, inferring that you are wrong. Does this offend you? Are you able to let go of that offense? If they truly are wrong, are you able to forgive them? These are such small things, but as I reflect back, these small things happen on a regular basis. Small offenses throughout the day, week or month add up. If we don't forgive those immediately we have a larger problem later. We need to forgive every little thing just as God forgave every little and bit thing in our lives. We need to realize that others may have faults and we need to over look those and we need not be so easily offended.
O - We have to realize everyone isn't prefect, especially ourselves. Knowing that, we have to give a little leeway. When someone makes a mistake we have to have some forgiveness and understanding. We can't be offended easily. God forgave us, how can we do anything less and expect anything more.
A - I will realize my ways are not perfect. What I see as an issue or a fault in others, may actually be my issue. If I am offended, I will not hold that within my but I will forgive the individual for the offense. I will thank God regularly for forgiving me.
P - Father, thanking you for covering my mistakes and my faults. Thank you for forgiving me when I have done things that clearly offended your laws. Thank you for offering me love even when I did not deserve it. Thank you for my salvation. Father, I ask that you always give me a heart to forgive others and to realize that everything can not be my way and I shouldn't take offense with another's position. Thanks you for the discerning spirt that you provide by the Holy Spirt. In Jesus' name, Amen.
