Today was supposed to be my P90X arms and shoulder workout. But after a tough day at work (work wasn't tough, I just didn't feel good) I came home and finished up my Galatians chapter one study and then headed out to the barn for some manual labor.
We are getting the barn ready for a wedding this Saturday and we want it to be as nice as it can be for the kids. So I spent all afternoon moving wood, cleaning walls, moving straw and raking. Brian and I put a bunch of wood up in the rafters and then I moved a bunch of old wood outside and threw it over the fence. I am fairly sure this was a workout. I approximated 400 calories based on being out there for 2.5 hours.
I am eating dinner a little later than I would like but I have to get in my nutrition and calories. Sometimes it is easy to forget that if don't eat it can prevent us from losing weight. My blood sugar still isn't where I would like it yet. My morning fasting blood sugar was 146 this morning and that is as low as it has been. That is sad. I am really watching my carb intake now and it is so hard to eat and stay low in carbs. Crazy how everything has carbs.
My back is still sore but now it just feels like sore muscle from a new workout. It it rough getting old and being out of shape and then all of a sudden deciding it is time to get back into top form. I am crazy. Please, join me in cr
