I have a new obsession. I am obsessed with finding a motorcycle. I want to have one by spring to ride. I used to have a Spyder but we sold those a few years ago. I want to go to two wheels this time. Nothing real big, but big enough to get around. It may seem silly at my age, a 52 year old, over weight, pastor and female to boot. But what can I say, that is what I want. I am thinking of the Yamaha V-star Silverado 650. But time will tell. I have to save my allowance to make sure I can get this. I am thinking sometime in April maybe
Still lots of talk about moving to Guatemala. I keep telling Brian we need to go down there for a vacation, not just a mission trip. We need to spend time really researching the cost involved in us living there. I want to go to the grocery store, check out gas costs, the cost of purchasing a vehicle there, the cost of rent in a home we would truly enjoy living in. These things are important. We will see what happens come the first of the year.
Today was great, I got to baptize a friend of mine. We planned on going to the lake but the temperatures have suddenly dropped this week and it has been pretty cold. But a local hotel to the rescue. The Comfort Inn said no problem when asked if we could use their hotel just for a baptism. They were so nice and accommodating.
Excited for tonight, MercyMe and Third Day and Colton Dixon all at one concert. Taking my newly baptized friend and her husband and we will spend the evening worshiping God in a praise and worship concert with thousands of others. First we are going to meet at the new sub place in town, Firehouse subs and see if they are any good. Looking forward to a nice evening with good people.
